 Erica's Final State Visit - Tennessee We love Erica's picture. How many of us had our cameras at the ready to catch the state sign? How many of us have missed it?!! | We welcome Erica Lutes to the All Fifty Club. She completed visiting all fifty this month with an exciting finish. Erica's 50 state tour is also unique in that she now lives in Belgium which has made visiting all the states a little more difficult than those of us who live state-side. She visited 38 states while taking trips while in college. After some other trips, she was left with Tennessee and Arkansas to go. While traveling for a conference in St. Louis, Missouri, she knew she was close enough to visit those remaining states. She began driving her rental car to Tennessee. However, just 20 miles shy of the border her rental car broke down. She explained to the tow truck company about her goal to get to Tennessee. The owner felt compelled to help her reach her goal by loaning her vehicle to complete her quest. So a drive to Arkansas over to Tennessee, and back to Hayti, Missouri made Belgium/American citizen, Erica Lutes, a 50 stater...with a little help from a kind tow truck driver! |
